Community Cornerstone

from Supt. Dr. Tracy Smith

May 22, 2025
Let the celebrations continue!

Dear NUSD Community,

Thank you to the wonderful turnout for the Tour of Novato on May 10. It was a busy Mother's Day weekend yet extra time was made to have fun, be outside and support our schools!

The community has raised over $67,920 so far adding to the total of $1,277,840 raised since 2008. That's funding going directly to our schools and students. Thank you to our School Fuel volunteers for making this event possible!

On morning of May 13 at the District Office, Trustees invited our many community partners to a gratitude breakfast event. Thank you to those who were able to attend including representatives from North Marin Community Services, Community Action Marin, ELAC/DELAC, PTA, Safe Routes to School, 10,000 Degrees, and Sustainable Marin Schools to name a few. It truly takes all of us working together to achieve the quality programs and services we have in our Novato schools.
This Friday, we will be honoring are selected Rotary Teachers of the Year.
